The only thing that may be somewhat of a hindrance to the sales is the fact a lot of Chinese boil water and drink hot from their flasks. On the flip side of that coin though is a lot have started in the last few years to use bottled water rather than tap due to a lot of health concerns surrounding potential bacteria and just plain nasty water.
Even after you boil it and kill the bacteria the taste of the water is still not good in comparison to using bottled, so that could be a plus. I find it a little weird that they don't drink cold water but it comes from a propaganda campaign back in the early 90's when people were dying from drinking the water and the government rather than say "we have foul polluted water" did a media campaign to say that drinking hot water was healthier for you.
