They talking about Vapour Turbine, an integral part of every Kalina cycle and then using their small gas turbines for smaller applications…..a great choice…..B Hughes are a $30 Bn company controlled by GE …
They are also very active in the geothermal field …..they have a weekly webinair on energy out of UK office that anyone can log in to…..last week was on geothermal….
Tomorrow’s is on use of gas as transition from fossil fuels to zero emission ….
Great news that someone of this calibre working with the company….and kicking off Saddle Hills …….Nice to have both GE and Siemens involved and to have B H supplying major gear for our waste heat recovery system in the Kalina Cycle itself should improve access to finance ……all that is left after that gear is a bunch of heat exchangers and a few pumps ….
They also happen to be 6x size of Ormat for starters ……nice partner IMO
