I too fit that category of "mum and dad" ie. i have children, a mortgage etc. I would have had to sell into a falling SP to buy into a SPP and hope it wasnt oversubscribed. I think your call was spot on for a large portion of holders. I am happy to miss out and see this go to instos. This latest sceario bodes well with me as we now are one step closer to commiting to the end of year deadline. Will we see instos that missed out or didnt get full allocation as it was oversubscribed step up now?

What a great scenario we have the capital to set up the drill deal and more confidence in our investment. Those that want out can also get out for a resonable price as the big boys are willing to soak them. WIN, WIN.
