There is no environment problem using slim hole if you have the right BOP etc. Need heavy wt mud etc.
The biggest problem you have with this play is seeing properly beneath the thrust planes. That's why they haven't been drilled before, the Cubans and Russians were not stupid at drilling.
So you market this area as a one hit wonder well or say we have five good prospect, the major risk of trap, reservoir and say you want to evaluate all of them
I know what I would do.
