sorry to labour the points...but I forgot to include the Cost to remove the CO2 that Eni would have to pay..........making any takeover of Meo or TS for that 78cents...seem cheap for them..
UR probably thinking...well....saltocan...the Abbot government has dropped the Carbon Tax...and U would be right.......but the Yanks and the Chinese and Europe are changing all this even in Oz...
so...that 78cents is not an illusion....its actually pretty cheap...to get rid of 3trillion tons of CO2 even at $1 per ton....
if Eni has an accountant then they would know this too.?
