The problem is this money is the full amount to Primobius, and it's to pay to build the plant.

And the plant is being built by SMS, not NMT.

SMS are experts, and they've no doubt built contingency into their budget, but a lot of time has passed since the quote was submitted until today.

There's been rampant inflation, and correct me if I'm wrong, but this is the first full scale plant, so there's potential for issues and cost overruns.

It is a good outcome, but how late going from initial expectations?

Very little of this money will end up in the NMT coffers, and given the tone deaf, self congratulatory pay rises awarded from the board and major holders, I'll be interested to see how far the cash on hand will take the company, and what the next injection of money to NMT will be?

I'm happy for people that the share price is up 20% today, but I fear it'll be short lived given there are very few near term opportunities.

Maybe they'll become a speccy lithium explorer again (which is the only thing Chris has any credibility with - but he sold the goose that laid the golden egg, so there's that).
