I can't see much downside from this deal. They are investing alongside NZ Oil and Gas who are now the largest shareholder of Mereenie.
Once everything comes online HZN could be producing 4,000-5,000 bbld until 2028.
You can only judge a company by management's actions and so far they have prioritised distributions back to shareholders.
