Interesting to note, that Echelon have stated that with hopefully the second development well also being successful, "There will be decades of production left". All I read out of what has been done, is the field is very compartmentalized and faulted throughout, so drilling extra infill wells should keep production to the level they want for sometime. Just remember, the Stairway interval in the WM29 was also cased, meaning that they can go in there anytime to test it, so there is that particular interval to produce from as well. I have seen from a number of people on Hotcopper, that have suggested what you have said above. Has the field depleted that much over time?? Yes, down the line further it very may well get to the uneconomic side of things, but it is still producing ok at present. Echelon will have done their homework on this licence area and so far it's paying off, you know it does own 50% and I wonder why?
