    OK thanks for the comprehensive answer. I guess the old wells with high helium content actually flowed, so that is some reassurance against the reservoir being completely terrible, although I guess you need to see a flow rate decline curve from an actual producing well sited in one of those reservoirs. I get the impression that data isn't out there as they plugged and abandoned those early wells fairly quickly, but correct me if I'm wrong.

    Can you frack a quartzite reservoir to stimulate He production? The internet says quartz is non-porous so I'm guessing no?
