i believe you should look at voting history before making assertions. With 10 % of the voting shares PLL was able to make any item have the outcome they desired. the reason that is possible is because, out of 11 billion shares, less than 4 billion votes are cast. At that point you actually control over 25% of the votes that are cast, now combine that with the BOD shares and you quickly see that voting is really an exercise that you only think you can win at. The largest share holders typically can push through any item they want to. The only exception to this is when there is disagreement within that group, or if the shares they own are excluded from voting on a particular issue.
at one point I believed retail shareholders could make a difference but I have come to realize we can not.
