Do note that there is NO reduction in cost base for retained BHP shares.
The WDS issue was NOT a split, capital return or capital reduction. It was a dividend, to be accounted for just like any other dividend.
No reduction in cost base.
And the WDS shares you got have the cost base of the dividend value.
