I am "mah" about the merger. the communication was badly handled but it was badly needed. l exited PAF in frustration years ago and could never get motivated to re-enter. too small problems with NTA felt like it's drifts.

at the end of the day l didn't participate in the spp because l felt uncomfortable about the dividends received + capital gain - proposed dividends. companies are far more likely to raise when the share price is strong.

it's a LIC that pays framed dividends to offset the lack of any dividends in portfolio ETF's. PAF shareholders will be wrapped PGF annoyed. I have done too many spp only to see the price drift lower the year after. was a bit strange though phone calls from PGF urging investment l thought.

just my thoughts but l am not fussed. merger was needed perhaps not handled well.
