I worked out that the average cost per share for WIC was 97 cents per share.
I worked out that on my original cost price of my WIC, the conversion cost price into WAM was $1.417. I agree, I don’t think it will trigger a CGT a levy. A massive amount of selling going on as EZL will want out as well as former WIC holders that were using leverage to get into WAM, and former WIC holders that don’t want WAM.
I hadn’t realised that the WIC transferred into WAM yesterday. Things will get either better, or FAR worse, when WAM goes ex div ! At current WAM prices, I think I am even be down on my last WIC holdings. (See Geoff Wilson’s explanatory email today explaining the drop).
