Management here have decided their future lies with AVL, and its a takeover and removal of TMT from the landscape in every sense of the word. Have a look at the "merger document". Even though they will constitute 42% of the company on paper, TMT people hold little or no influence in the new structure. Its basically the same as AVL, and in due course I wouldn't be at all surprised if many of those TMT people get eased out. What happens to Ian as the "Integration Executive" when the integration is completed ? Does he become the joint CEO ? Fat chance. But TMT management are nevertheless all lining up for these roles, and there will be nothing left of TMT. I'd call that a vote of no confidence in their own company/project, all day, every day. You're right on one count with your personal attack. I do have "form". I mostly sold up last year when the company failed to deliver their "integration study" in full. Looks now like I made a good call. It seems most likely they have been working on this merger for some time instead of progressing their own project. Regardless, shareholders here should be up in arms about this takeover.
