RCF VII (the fund invested in TMT and AVL ) had actually set up a new subsidiary, now listed on the New York Stock Exchange, before buying into TMT.


Reading a bit more it appears to have the strong support of Rothschild’s Bank and last year around this time was
Aholding about a quarter of a billion US dollars  with which to invest, including buying new energy companies.

The Company was formed for the purpose of effecting a merger, capital stock exchange, asset acquisition, stock purchase, reorganization or similar business combination with one or more businesses (the “Business Combination” ) .
The Company’s sponsor is RCF VII Sponsor LLC, a Delaware limited liability company (the “Sponsor” ) .
The Company has selected December 31st as its fiscal year end…”
