Wouldn’t you say that that is true of ANY company where a cornerstone investor ‘wanders in’?
Most especially the ones that wander in and then give one of their people a seat at the director’s table?
Clearly big investors have an impact on outcomes.
The debate (such as it is) is about whether shareholders will see faster price appreciation from this point as a merged identity and whether the value set for the merger is acceptable.
@Gollada appears to think there will be no price appreciation due to a belief the merger will create two year delay on any positive news .
Plenty of others apparently think the value set on TMT is not fair.
I think right now - as you say - the big picture is not something I am privy to but I expect better price outcomes on my shares - and in less than two years - under the merged entity.
