EPA can't provide an approval. That's the ministers job. The EPA can only provide a recommendation on whether it should be approved or not and the associated conditions. If we have not presented at a monthly EPA meeting yet (which I don't believe we have), then unless we are at the October meeting (I understand that we are not) then ministerial approvals won't happen this year considering condition review periods, appeals periods etc.

So when the EPA chairman visited the TMT mine site was that not enough of a presentation to exactly what is happening. Jo Gaines needs to earn her $$ and find out where the EPA approval is up to and consult with all of government to keep the process moving forward. I share @RhysT thoughts the WA government can’t be this inefficient on mine approvals when the government supports a critical minerals industry. Something is not right
