It was Xu Jinfu - the chairman of that mighty enterprise.
And he was hardly a cornerstone investor with - as I think you noted in July 22 [ref] a holding of around 2.5 million shares after converting his options!
And not on the top 20 list at all now although according to Forbes he could well afford to be with a fortune worth more than US$7.4billion two years ago;

I guess he may have been one of the potential financiers Ian and Elisha have maintained contact with if he is still on the register?
(Tinci is a major holder in plenty of other ASX-listed stock).
I wonder what his view is on the proposed merger and whether he thinks the prices at which the ratio were set were disadvantageous to TMT?
