What a quick, clear decision.
I think it says the Directors decision was easy for them and not one needing much evaluation, and that they believe there is going to be more value added to the company in the short to medium term by going alone for a while. ie Additional trials and tech info over that timeframe will help derisk any purchaser's decision and encourage them to acquire at a much higher price than currently. They havent traded away or diluted control of the company which is good.
