What I found most interesting was the other corporate benefits that an enlarged entity WGX will have at it's finger tips, especially when adding a better asset to it's portfolio (though I was disappointed that the MoM so quickly dismissed Great Fingall, which will be a very low cost U/G mine). Particularly, if... WGX wanted to have more firepower to make at least one more deal (SPR... being the most logical target for synergies within the Murchison, i.e... shut down Tuckabiana and truck the 1mtpa+ from Big Bell/Great Fingal to Dalgaranga. Would easily create a 300k+ p.a production hub.
I do think the MoM team missed one potential major reason for KRR chosing WGX over RMS.... WGX runs it's U/G mines, RMS do not....
Could not help but have a chuckle at the 'torque' discussion.
Interested to hear your thoughts when you come to a conclusion on the deal Wassa.
Oh, I will quickly add.... that just maybe, WGX has it's eye on PNR over the longer term... Norseman basically sits within the fold of KRR tenements.
