What u said is right, in that info provided is very limited. How I use what's here is to judge the "intensity" of the shorting activity intraday of the traders. But to do that, one has to more or less look at the list everyday which is tiresome. It would be good if SGX provided a much higher level of info as u mentioned. However, SGX had a retail-unfriendly CEO, Magnus Bocker, for almost 6 years n he was bending over for the big houses at the expense of retail investors for a long time. A couple of years ago we kicked him out n got locals to take over,n things r much better now for us small investors.
