Izalokar, you are becoming cynical my friend! As far the problems being over at Newstan it hasn't happened yet. Since the face cave in last August production has not hit more than 50,000 tonnes per week budgeted production is around the 85k mark hardly normal. Last wednesday another fault was hit result buried again cost $250k materials 750k lost revenue and still struggling to get going with more faults to go thru. The new face conveyor will not be the cure all because the falls are so big when the machinery starts up it actually breaks the armoured face conveyor. Bearing in mind that we still have 800 mts to go in a block that should have finished last Sept and now will be May at best. Hope this helps its not as positive as the companies spin but i haven't seen Bob Cameron down the pit for some time! Cheers roidz.
