Thanks Flexmw, now my excuse is I've been quoting from the BBC TV teletext business page on LSE 88e BB and others.
The price is quoted as
(Natural Gas Futures) as of date and time.
444.75 -6.99. -1.5
now as oil, gold etc is quoted in $ I assumed the quote was in $.
I've been quoting this $ figure for months I wrongly assumed it to be correct, and although I'd wondered what quantity of gas it related too, not being corrected I assumed everyone understood, and it was indeed correct.
It's pointless being a fool unless you show it. But realistically the price % increase over the days was there to be seen.
