Lets be negative for a while - If I were to put on my cynics hat I would be concerned over the following :

Why no depth and thickness figures given ? They have the data from LWD but gave none.

They used a "play on words" by saying reservoir intervals "thicker than Merlin-1" but never said "thicker than pre-drill estimates". EG - its very possible the reservoir intervals are indeed thicker than the thin ones on Merlin-1 but also very much thinner than pre-drill estimates of what should have been found at Merlin-2.

Perhaps they will try to wing it and get good wireline testing results - with just enough thickness to declare commercial potential - so the bad news on lower thickness than estimates will be diluted by successful moverable oil ? Thats what the cynic would highlight.

I could also quite easily rip a few parts of PANR news releases to shreds, but that will upset some very arrogant people so I will not.
