All you can expect with LWD is background gas and oil in the cuttings.
Thats why you run wireline logging to confirm the gross and net oil pay. If you dont understand background gas readings (gas flows before oil, you look for elevated background gas for oil pay bearing zones) then well, you shake your head in despair.
Excellent news so far.....now we await the wireline logging results to confirm oil pay.
