My guess is yes, they will have their own electronic countermeasures for drones similar to ECM for improvised explosive devices. IMO these counter measures will be basic in design and heavy for man packable operations.

I'd be very surprised if MESMER is not deployed on the battle field now or very soon. As an explosive ordnance disposal operator, capturing one of these drone-borne improvised explosive devices would be gold for building a picture of your enemies weapons and tactics let alone just taking one out of the battle. That's the best thing about D13's Mesmer, is that it's non kinetic, just plain takes over operation of the drone and can land in a safe place for exploitation in the scenario spoke of above. Wish I was there to see the look on the terrorists face when his Chinese toy f#*ks off into the distance or even better comes back to his location and functions the payload . D13 could rack up some kills out there...get some!!!
