Of course you may. And in fact out of curiosity and because of the way you commented - I actually did. Dylan Wiliam's 2016 paper The Secrets of Effective Feedback - seems like good advice to teachers on giving effective feedback to students.
Not clear on how it applies in this particular situation though where I am trying to get dachopper in particular (my weird looking feedback was to him - his are the other words in it - it isn't feedback to anyone else) who is not in any sort of formal student teacher relationship with me to simply acknowledge that some specific facts are actually facts.
He is sovereign of him and may prefer not to acknowledge some facts as facts. I am sovereign of me and can chose how to proceed or not if he doesn't.
