@whytee can we say this in another way, with maybe a bit more of a positive spin on it; something along the lines of " there was an indication of treatment effects relative to the placebo .... blah blah... but because of the small sample size, it can not be claimed the differences/treatment effects were statistically significant. The differences do however justify testing treatment effects in a larger scale phase 3 study."
