The results are very significant for reduction of MACE and death from all causes despite not clinically improving the patients' heart failure.
I'd still chalk this up as a win. It just means we still don't understand the mechanism of action, which is fine.
I find it weird they didn't mention GI bleeding? I thought that was something they'd gone on about previously.
All in all better than I expected!
I don't know how this will affect FDA approval. May need more studies? I'd be very surprised if it got approved any time soon to be honest (it's a fairly invasive procedure)
