Hmmm this is a really tough one:
option A: inject msb stem cells and have a 60% less chance of dying having a stroke or MI but u still have to go to hospital the same amount as what u would without msb stem cells
option B: don’t inject stem cells, have 60% higher chance of dying, MI or stroke and still go to hospital the same amount
my thoughts on this is that the trial has demonstrated that msb stem cells have a significant effect which gives me great confidence of its efficacy throughout any pro -inflammatory condition. My opinion is that in the coming years we will see this being administered to every patient immediately following stent insertion or CABG to reduce myocardial reperfusion injury in AMI patients
