you can't say its worse than flu for that exact reason, theres not enough data yet, its only been out for a few weeks,
when death toll is over 80,000 then yep...its bad
remember it is winter in the northern hemisphere, which is the flu season... in winter of 2018 - 80,000 unfortunate souls left our wonderful planet due to normal flu in the US alone.
