Thanks @Davidboon - that's an interesting take "I suspect this has something to do with utilizing Surgecentre in the US"...
It make sense though - using the trial as a mechanism for SurgCentre to learn about product, as an early training mechanism to facilitate a faster commercialisation down the track (hit the ground running once approved), meanwhile SurgCentre will get income from being part of the trial.
Could this be the strategy that got SurgCentre to invest?
It's a win win situation.
