Ann: Mesoblast Update on COVID-19 ARDS Trial, page-257

Today's announcement is a big setback for all and I feel sorry for those who have listened to the hype on this forum and bought without doing their own research. A couple of months ago I sold all my holdings recovered all my initial investment and made a decent profit. My intent was to go into the market when there was some certainty in the trial results and the company would have some of its products approved. When Novartis came into the picture, I thought thought they had a company to work with and progress with the expertise of Novartis to commercialisation. I went against my reasoning and bought back using some of my profits. Although with the drastic fall in price my current paper loss is easily absorbed by my previous profits. Hence I am not in a position of some who are now in a situation where it will affect them financially.
Over the last two months there has been over optimism by posters with very little evidence to support their forecast of price or the success of the products. I do believe that management has been overconfident and set very high standards which were not easily achievable. Now they are looking at secondary endpoints to seek some sort of approval.
This may set them back a fair while and hence each individual holder has to make a decision based on their circumstances and what is the best move to make.
This is my opinion and not advice of any sort and I would advise others to do their own research and do what is best for each individual.
