I guess when you don't pay for the study you are at the mercy of the sponsor.It was a free hit but even a free hit needs to be given a proper chance. Of course, it wasn't a free hit when it came to MSB internal resources. However, if the Novartis deal works out it will have been worth it, otherwise not.
