Conclusion: As with his Ryberg project, Conico fell short of the self-imposed goals in the 2022 exploration season on its second project in East Greenland, Mestersvig. The reason is the same for both projects: Conico did not have a reliable drilling crew on site, as signalled by the company in the meantime. Therefore, a total of only ten boreholes were laid down on Mestersvig, about a third of what the geologists had planned. On the one hand, this is a shame and a waste of valuable resources, on the other hand, the successful drilling confirms the hypothesis that the bulblyc vein system extends over kilometres. The parallel Nuldal structure also shows how prospective the Mestersvig project is. Despite the failed exploration season, it is becoming apparent that Mestersvig easily has what it takes for a stand-alone project for Zn-Pb-Cu-Ag. The entrepreneurial question should be how to organise exploration in the future and how best to finance it.
