Interesting - that statement in the report does imply the same ore is getting markedly different results through the two treatment methods.
I’d agree the 1000t bulk sample of tailings is going to be a very interesting result.
I would have thought head grades would be determined through sampling and assaying of the ore prior as it’s fed into the mill - so if the tailings do show high grades then it implies there’s been something wrong with that part of the process as well (and not just mill performance).
Not downramping - have just seen many nuggety and/or visible-gold quartz vein deposits run into simliar problems when it comes to trying to convert what is seen visually and in small scale sampling into profitable runs on the board with full scale mining/processing.
