In the prior Paddys Well announcement they mention large mineralised widths (>30m) of these clays over a 6 x 2km area small area that has been tested so far - that could be several millions of tonnes! Hence, as the announcement states, do the work upfront to see whether it is worthwhile to continue developing the clay story or instead focus on the REE carbonatites targets.
