It may fall back to .013 in the drop after this announcement, but imo, on average the sp is now past the bottom and on the upswing and with the encouraging news it has a chance to rebound a bit. There have been 27mil shares taken out already without a big rise, this is I think going to get rid of quite a large percentage of the shares garnered at .013 or lower, many of which were obtained by individual holders such as Doyle, Reddy...et al, now sold to new or returning holders who will want to hang on for further increases.
The list of shareholders (31/3) does not show that GEM have taken up a lot of shares yet. The announcement of issues yesterday of 21,344,056 shares at .013 + 4,268,811 options at .035 are I think the first issues made to GEM (unless I've missed a notice?). GEM may have sold many of these today at .014 (what a coincidence!?).
I expect the individual large holders who got in at low prices may trade some for a quick return on some of the shares, but would also expect that having bought in substantially they are taking a punt on making a killing when a more substantial rise come about.. certainly that's what I would be doing (and am to a lesser extent).
This announcement gives hope that it really is worth hanging on and that there are better times ahead.
Also, MOD seems to have put a hold on selling - his latest notice shows a drop in percentage shareholding due to dilution but not from further sales. Perhaps .013 is too low even for him! It probably won't be very long before he is under 5% even if he doesn't sell any more just due to further dilution.
So all in all, a good day I think!
