I think Lee will have to think really hard before signing any contract on this, Airtronics are the ones that want this technology, their own M203 is not capable of firing conventional high pressure rounds like thos from the Mk19 BFGL, if they want their M203 to cover a greater range then they have to have this technology and I firmly believe it isn't just for non lethal, I reckon it applies just as much to lethal, but if this goes ahead it takes away one really great selling point of the 3GL over the competition, will Airtronics stop there? why not use the technology in it's Mk19 BFGL as well?
If metalstorm allow them to use their IP which belongs to metalstorm NOT the DSTO, then they should be thinking long and hard about where this may end up?
