According to MCT HC posts, “the deal is more than sufficient,” problem is the silent majority, or 78% of NME holders (I am one), don’t seem to agree. Especially with the “deal” coming before the MRE.
Current MCT tactics to spend cash on lawyers, survey companies, one particular broker or extend offer dates to limit NME strategic options, and “smoke out” another 28% acceptances will unfortunately now have to play out until 15 December.
Can’t blame MCT management for being opportunistic and testing NME holders resolve, and not going to blame NME management for responses - but MCT launching their offer from a single digit holding to try and claim >51% was always going to be somewhat problematic.
Despite everything. If MCT want control now, I agree with mike999, that management will need to get more commercial to entice NME holders (into a 2Bill share on issue company, with ultra-low trading volumes).
