But why stop there? They can soak the rest up from the market (there's really not that many shares outside the top 3 holders). Matthews would have to give in at some point. No point for them to hold on their shares if there's no one else left on the register.
Alternatively, they could do a deal with Matthews first, then acquire enough to launch a compulsory takeover?
Just a thought.. maybe a silly one?
