Important step imo, and results in line with expectations.
31.22% TREO at 85.9% recovery…. clearly down from the initial bulk surface sample of 40% TREO with 92.8% recovery.
This was to be expected…the surface composite was a ~40kg sample from rock chip material from MNRK0292 and MNRK0288 which graded 7.5% and 4.77% TREO…. compared to the results today from core samples with head grades ranging from 1.60% - 2.36% TREO.
All up the results today are broadly comparable to what we see over at Yangibana at a comparable beneficiation stage, at least in terms of the TREO concentrate variables.
DRE:31.22% TREO at 85.9% recovery and 10.76% Nd2O3+Pr6O11
HAS :27% TREO at 96% recovery after ore sorting (87.6% without i.e. similar to DRE) 11.1% Nd2O3+Pr6O11
No doubt there is more to come in this space with expanded met testing, and I would be surprised if they didn't follow HAS lead wrt ore sorting options (in due course).
