Add GRL (Godolphin Resources) to that list of those with Ionic clays i.e. the Narraburra project just north of Temora in NSW. Yes, a relatively new kid on the block (since 2015) although their recent updated JORC indicates 20mts of >1000ppm TREOs (out of >90mts) and AR3 is increasingly a good comparison for it. Narraburra tests have shown an encouraging pH of 2 although much more work needs to be done. Shallow Narraburra clays overlay peralkaline granites of Devonian age (up to 380m years) so extensively weathering.
Best of luck to all of us although I agree 100% with the statement...not all ionic clays are equal. However, at least it's encouraging to be in that space.
