Maybe one of the reason's SPR sp has gone back up is the more in depth met testwork seems to verify the earlier results that the gold can be liberated in the deeper sourced fresh rock by just grinding finer to get plus 90% recoveries , than having to uses POX or similar ?
In addition I am guessing now they are more confident in using the existing SAG mill as the primary grinder , (which is normally lower cost in OPEX for grinding than a ball mill ) then put any oversize particles coming out through a new ball mill , rather than having to replace the whole grinding circuit ?
Interesting how we seem to be going through the abyss in the Lasande curve even though we keep getting stronger future performance indicators that we will be a high margin gold producer , that is not as much influenced by POG for the bottom line compared to the low margin producers .
