Thanks for that @Trending237 that blast was really important to First Tin.
That's because one of the most important ways they have of pre-concentration is sizing the tin being concentrated in the fines fraction.
Apparently, it gathers along the boundaries of grains and is preferentially separated into the fines fraction. Now, I'm not working on the metallurgy of First Tin but their metallurgists will take the material away and examine it to be sure their process utilizing the fracturing & sizing is right.
They sound more like mining engineers talking about the significance of powder factors and I'm sure it is important but optimising the metallurgy is equally or more so.
Your pickup is an example of exactly the sort of teamwork I (we) benefit form.
