It seems like a zero sum gain though for existing shareholders...

    It seems like a zero sum gain though for existing shareholders as I cannot see the market valuing the non-gold side at $1.70/2 = 85c especially once the gold guys sell their unwanted shares so if the gold side lifts and the non-gold side tanks then how are shareholders any better off and they've likely been diluted 12.9% from last week to boot.. AND they will be paying for 2 sets of management/boards etc..
