Yes I forgot to mention the trader that will try and spark some interest by buying ''big'' and spark a green candle and in theory may have others jump on board as they think something is happening with the company and good news is coming $$ !
But if no positive announcement comes the interest wanes and the SP continues a downward trend and if the trader is not lucky and sells his stock into the short term hype he generated HE will lose too by being stuck with shares that he would have to sell at a loss !
Or end up holding for a long time until some good news eventuates with the stock !
Well that's what day traders try and do don't they ?
