Maybe they want to drive down the share price? I bet it's one of those sophisticated investor types with a bunch of shares they bought in a capital raising and they've got a wad of cash burning a hole in their pocket, can smell the next capital raising coming up and being in good standing with the company, expect to be admitted to the next potentially undersubscribed round, and the cheaper the price they buy in for in this round the bigger the slice of pie they end up with for the money compared to those who've previously participated and now have cold feet at the horror they've been witnessing?
Have to check the register for bargain hunters.
