Certainly brokers know how to buy cheap without pushing the price up too much.
But as far as lithium goes, it was hot at 140$, lithium battery's was a new and exciting thing. Too many projects kicked off at the same time. Lithium went down to 20$ and now it's sitting on 30$. No one was looking for lithium before batteries. Now we know lithium is everywhere in large quantities and not rare as once believed. Only a handful of companies survived.
Gold however is a different story, with clear history behind.
