Buddy, you sound depressed. There is no reason for that.
MEL has seriously good assets. Our problem though, is that in recent times we have a Board and management who are either incapable of recognising those assets or if they do, actually knowing what to do about them.
So all is not lost and for the moment we have to hope that Greg Short can knock some sense into them. It is however a problem that instead of trying to work out something for themselves, the Board thought it necessary to look outside for someone else. The potential downside is that Greg comes from the same gene pool and might have the same issues with being a bit visionary.
But we will pretty quickly be able to tell. No sensible shareholder should stand for this nonsense much longer.
